About the DAWN Youth Survey
A DAWN Youth Survey has been carried out in 2007–2008 in order to gather information on diabetes and its influence on the lives of children with diabetes. The respondents in the survey were young people with diabetes aged 18 to 25, parents or caregivers of at least one child with diabetes aged between 0 and 18, and healthcare professionals. More than 6,000 respondents from 8 different countries participated in the survey.
